Logo / illustration proposals for a stand-up comedy summer festival in Antwerp BE. The first proposal focussed on a big mouth, as main weapon or tool for most comedians. For the second, we went for a full character, a mascot: some sort of Mister-Do-It-All. That's where all the hands came in: the helping hand / a revolting fist / the pointing finger / the waving hand / hands grabbing a drink / etc. And of course the hand as a well-known symbol in Antwerp. The final version comes down to a mix of both styles and concepts, simplified into one clear logomark …
